Save&Restore of built "Navigator" dependency view

What I would have needed already a few times would be some sort of feature to save the current setup/configuration of the dependency-model in the view and load it again later to restore the display or to send it to another colleague for usage.
A common scenario would be to analyze errors in the data, create a model of it and pass this model on to the developers for further investigation/fixing. Currently the only way would be to add all necessary fields to the model and export a PNG or create a printout which then can be handed over to the person responsible for fixing bugs.
