Import Table Data: automatic mapping between table and file columns

Hi there,

I use the "Import Table Data" function quite often and manual mapping between table and file columns is a real time killer.

So it would be very nice, if DBVis could do that for me.

Using exactly the same column names in the CSV as they are named in the table, should make it possible to match them. Right now, the suggested columns form the CSV are simply top down. So a name is suggested for the id in the table and so on.

Is this already possible and just a bug with informix? If not, it would make my databaselife a lot easier

Hi Roger,

I'd love to see this feature in 6.1

Automatic encoding detection is another enhancement, I'd like to see with this feature.
