Sybase ASE - Set Current Schema

Environment:
DbVisualizer Personal 7.1.4
Sybase ASE 12.5.4
jConnect JDBC Driver 6.05

Issue:
Can you please let me know if there is a way to:

Change the current schema automatically

Not set the current schema at all

I know I can manually change the current schema from the drop-down list in the SQL Commander, but I was wondering if this can be set automatically when I log in.

In Tool Properties --> Sybase ASE --> Set Current Schema --> This feature is disabled for Sybase

Hi,

This feature is disabled for Sybase ASE because, as far as I know, there is no SQL command to set the current schema for this database type, as there is for some other databases (e.g. "ALTER SESSION SET current_schema" for Oracle). If you have found documentation for a SQL command that does this, please post a URL that describes it.
