Early Access download for DbVisualizer 6.1.1.3

1. Download and install Java VM (optional)
We recommend that you download the latest Java VM version by clicking the Java image below. If you are using Windows or Linux, you can download the installer that includes Java VM 1.5 or let the installer without Java VM automatically check for a Java VM. If a Java VM is not found then it will ask if it should download it.
- This early access version for DbVisualizer is tested with Mac OS X 10.5.4.
- Java 1.5 is required Java 1.6 is recommended.
2. Download Installer
Download installer for the platform of your choice.

3. Installation Notes
Installation Notes for ZIP archives (Windows)
All files are contained in an enclosing folder named
DbVisualizer-6.1.1.3.
Unpack the distribution file with the built-in zip archive
extraction utility in Windows or with the winzip utility.
The ZIP archive installer will not add any entries to the Start menu, add desktop launchers or even register the software in the Windows registry. Start DbVisualizer by clicking the dbvis.exe file in the installation directory for DbVisualizer.
Uninstallation of DbVisualizer installed via a ZIP archive is simply done by deleting the complete DbVisualizer-6.1.1.3 directory.
Installation Notes for TAR archives (Unix)
All files are contained in an enclosing folder named
DbVisualizer-6.1.1.3.
Unpack the distribution file with:
gunzip dbvis_unix_6_1_1_3.tar.gz tar xf dbvis_unix_6_1_1_3.tar
Start DbVisualizer by executing the shell script
DbVisualizer-6.1.1.3/dbvis
Installation Notes for RPM archives (Linux)
Install the rpm with rpm -i <download_filename> or your favorite rpm tool. Execute dbvis at the command line.
4. Eval license for DbVisualizer Personal
Installing DbVisualizer and running it out of the box automatically launches the DbVisualizer Free edition with many great features and database support.
We encourage you to register for an evalution license for DbVisualizer Personal. It has all the functionality available in DbVisualizer Free plus a long great list of additional features and database support.
Enter your e-mail address to request a 21 day evaluation license for DbVisualizer Personal.
Note: Use the same e-mail address as you use when downloading the software.
Upon successful completion of the evaluation license registration an email is sent to you with the license key and installation instructions.
