PureLoad Requirements
PureLoad is a Java application and should run on any platform that supports Java, Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 or higher. This allows you to leverage as much hardware that you have available no matter what platforms.
Platforms
We have tested PureLoad on the following platforms:
- Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista
- Linux x86
- Solaris
- Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5
(Customers have reported successful use on other platforms even though we haven't verified it).
Disk space
20 MB free hard disk space for PureLoad and additional space for Java (if not already installed).
Memory
Each PureLoad process needs at least 128 MB of RAM. During execution the memory requirement increases, depending on the actual scenarios, number of workers, number of tasks etc. But as a rule of thumb a minimum of 512 Mb system memory is recommended
Installation
The PureLoad software is distributed in a self-extracting format. Simply execute the installer and answer the questions.
