SQL Developer Classic support ends in April 2027
Oracle lists April 2027 as the end of support for SQL Developer 26.2. In Oracle's announcement for version 26.2, SQL Developer product manager Jeff Smith described it as most likely the final release of the classic desktop application and directed users toward SQL Developer for VS Code.
