What payment options are available?

We offer direct payment methods such as credit card and PayPal, for indirect payments we offer wire/bank transfer and payment by PO. Some localized payment methods are also available.

My customer wants to consolidate several licenses, how do I do that?

Contact DbVis sales support with your request. Make sure to include:
Customer info
Number of licenses
Preferred co-term date (if there is any)
Specify if any new licenses are to be added

Can a license be refunded mid-term?

Mid-term orders could not be refunded entirely, but only the maintenance time that are left. Contact sales support with your request and make sure to include the following:
Order reference number
Reason for refunding

My customer wants to add more users, how do I do that?

What is a partner ID and how do I get one?

You use your partner ID to log in to our online store. That will apply your reseller discount to any quote/purchase and pre-fill the order form with your information. If you do not have a partner ID you can sign up for one here. By signing up, you are agreeing to our reseller ToS.

How do I place an order?

Select the product, number of years and qty in our online store. Log in using your partner ID and your discount will be added. Submit the licensee details to the required fields and go through the steps to complete your order.

How do I co-term a purchase, and are co-terms prorated?

Contact DbVis sales support with your request. Make sure to include:
Company name
Co-term date
Specify whether it is new or license renewals, or both
Co-terms are prorated if the term length is less than 12 months.

I am asked to specify a 'Renewal reference number' when trying to place a renewal order. What is it and where do I find it?

The renewal reference number is the reference number for the license(s) you're looking to renew. You will find it listed in the previous license delivery and all purchase-related emails.

We do not want to be automatically billed in the subscription format. How do I turn that off?

Since April 2023 all purchases made with a valid partner ID will have the automatic renewal of a subscription turned off by default. Unless manually turned on by the buyer, you will not be automatically charged at the time of renewal.

How do I request a quote?

You may click GET QUOTE on dbvis.com/buy. That will redirect you to the store cart where you can select quantity, support type and term length.

If you have already clicked BUY and wish to to first receive a quote reflecting your cart selection, you may click ‘REQUEST PRICE QUOTE’ at the top of the store page.

To ensure that your reseller benefits are applied; make sure that you are logged in to the store using your Partner ID and password.

How can I get a refund for my order?

To have your order refunded, please contact sales support and provide the following details:
Order reference number
Reason for refunding
Confirm whether the license delivery has been passed to the end-user
If the license has been sent to the end-user, we will also need written confirmation from them that all copies of the delivered key has been deleted.

The customer want to renew a lesser amount of licenses than originally purchased. Is that OK?

Yes, that is completely fine. Decrease the number of license renewals directly in our online store.

We offer discounts to educational institutions, non-profits and start-ups. Contact sales support for more information. We do not offer government discounts.

What is the exchange rate on your website?

The exchange rate is updated daily. Our third-party payment processor cleverbridge also adds a surcharge of 10.89% to any conversion, to guarantee the pricing for the validity of the quote which is 30 days. The base currency in our online store is USD so any conversion will be from that.

Can I increase my reseller discount?

Yes, any software reseller can increase their discount from the standard rate to a higher one if certain requirements are met.

How do I add my reseller discount to a quote/purchase?

The partner login button is located on the top right side in our online store. Submit your username and password and the discount will be applied.

Can I purchase DbVisualizer in a different currency?

Yes. We offer currency conversion in our online store. The currency drop down list is available at the top of the page. Our base currency is USD so any conversion will be from that.

There are no geographical restrictions for DbVisualizer, the standard EULA applies.

Who/what is cleverbridge?

All DbVisualizer online sales are processed by our third-party payment processor cleverbridge. All major credit cards are accepted as well as payment via bank/wire transfer. The ordering procedure is processed via encryption and safe secure transmission of all data you enter.

We are tax exempt - how do we remove the tax from our quote/purchase?

The tax may be deducted by adding your Cleverbridge Document ID to the relevant field in your quote/order. To obtain a Cleverbridge Document ID, please follow the instructions here.

I placed an order and was charged tax, can I have it refunded?

Cleverbridge can refund sales tax from a previous purchase within 90 days from the date of order. Send cleverbridge your completed exemption certificate so that they can issue you a document ID and your refund. Please see this article on what is needed to complete your exemption certificate. You will reach cleverbridge at cs@cleverbridge.com.
